Reminds me of my hometown! You ain’t seen nothin’ yet, Gainesville folks are uppity compared to down here in good ol’ Pike County ;-)

Uppity? I haven’t seen one area of gainesville that I would consider Uppity… maybe right on Lanier, that would be about it.

Compared to down here, where for years we couldn’t keep a Hardees in business, it is. It’s starting to become more civilized in Zebulon, more restaurants thank goodness, but you’re still as likely to see a rebel flag as an american one, kids with no shoes in the grocery store, and there are tar paper shacks right next door to city hall. Oh, and we have to go to the post office to pick up the mail, it costs extra to have it delivered if you live in town. Zebulon, Georgia…Pop. 1,181 (give or take a few)
