So, I first saw Julian Beever’s artwork about a year or two ago and was blown away. I mean, its not the kind of artwork that requires the artists to tell the story about the emotions they were going through and experiencing at the time. There’s really no room for interpretation, which makes it more accessible to the public. What is amazing is the amount of creativity and ingenuity that was required to come up with these styles. Basically, he makes art on sidewalk, but does so that at certain angles it looks perfect and has a 3d effect, coming up out of the sidewalk. The first two artworks below show what it looks like form two different angles, and then I pulled some of my favorites.
