I was reading over some of your posts and saw this one and thought about the Page 2 story as well. I read the ESPN article the other day and it definitely made me want to go home and check out my cards. I have several Tops complete sets my gparents gave me for a couple of years and I remember always wishing they were Upper Deck. My favorite card is a special Cal Ripken Upper Deck card shot by famous Sports Illustrated photographer Walter Looss.

I also have Gulf War cards. I have a Sadaam card, I wonder if that's worth anything.

Magic cards came after pogs, but before pokemon. Also I collected baseball cards for a long while till I got into Magic and other games. I liked magic more cause not many people collected baseball cards where I lived, and magic cards were at least dual purpose, a game and a collection. Baseball cards just kinda sit there.

I'm going to comment on my own blog: Seems like Page 2 at ESPN was thinking about baseball cards as well. <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/index" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">here</a>
